Thermography is a state-of-the-art, and potentially life-saving, method of detecting cancer by using thermal imaging. The technology used to perform thermograms is considered one of the most reliable for risk assessment and detection, especially in the case of breast cancer — as opposed to potentially cancer-causing mammograms.
A thermography offers the opportunity of earlier detection. Thermography can detect the subtle physiologic changes that accompany breast pathology, whether it is cancer, fibrocystic disease, an infection or a vascular disease. Your doctor can then plan accordingly and lay out a careful program to further diagnose and or monitor you during and after any treatment.
Thermography uses non-radiation digital infrared thermal imaging to detect patterns of heat and blood flow near the surface of the body. With that said, we all know the risks of breast cancer and that having regular breast health screenings is important. Women who are at risk that are too young for regular X-ray screenings (mammography), or they have implants or fibrocystic breasts, which can make mammography less effective and in the end get too much radiation from too many mammograms in the event of trying to be proactive.
In many cases, thermography can be useful to track changes in a condition. Once you have a baseline thermal reading, subsequent thermograms will reveal temperature deviations over time. This may provide valuable information to you and your physician for gauging whether a condition is getting better or not, and even whether a particular treatment is working well or not.

Thermography of Breast or One Area of the Body. This scan can screen for fibrocystic breast density, inflammation, and suspicious breast patterns.
Included: Head, Neck, Chest, Breast, Back, and abdomen. This scan can indicate issues such as sinus inflammation, TMJ, Thyroid dysfunction, breast health, GI dysfunction, immune health, and adrenal fatigue.
Full body thermography can screen for thyroid, immune function, breast health, GI distress, and joint inflammation. This test is helpful for screening for patterns that can suggest illness at early and late stages.
